AutoCAD Drafter

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of detailed shop drawings that include multiple views. Drawings should be done in the American measurement system, as opposed to the Metric System.
- The drafter is responsible for ensuring that designs are compatible with fabrication limitations
- Communication with project managers regarding field conditions
- Provide support to field installers and shop personnel
- Maintain and improve AutoCAD block library
- Must be able to use a spec book to pull fabrication requirements when designing kitchen layout
- Ability to read construction plans and specs, work from architectural drawings, and sketches
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in AutoCAD
- Good mathematical skills to draw contours or to compute dimensions
- Must be able to multitask
- Outstanding time management skills
- Self-starter with a "can do" / "will do" attitude
- Sheet metal experience is a plus, and experience designing Kitchens is an even bigger plus
- Experience in the food services industry is a plus
- Experience with Solid Works or any 3-D Drawing software is highly preferred
