We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Healthcare Marketing Copywriter to develop compelling, brand-aligned content across multiple marketing channels. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in both healthcare and technology industries, and the ability to simplify complex healthcare information into engaging and compliant messaging for diverse audiences.

This role will collaborate closely with creative, campaign, and content teams while supporting AI-enabled content workflows and maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engaging, brand-aligned copy for multi-channel marketing campaigns including:
  • Digital
  • Social media
  • Email marketing
  • SMS
  • Direct mail
  • Event and promotional materials
  • Write and edit content for:
  • Thought leadership assets
  • White papers
  • Blogs
  • Webinars
  • Executive communications
  • Sales enablement materials
  • Collaborate with creative teams, campaign managers, and content stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency across B2B, B2C, and B2Provider audiences
  • Translate complex healthcare and product-related information into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content while maintaining compliance and accessibility standards
  • Support AI-enabled content drafting and optimization workflows while ensuring human review for accuracy, tone, and regulatory adherence
  • Maintain and uphold Optum Rx brand voice, tone, and style guidelines
  • Participate in content QA and approval processes, ensuring:
  • Accuracy
  • HIPAA and fair balance compliance
  • Readability and accessibility
  • Assist in reviewing content performance metrics, including engagement data and A/B testing results, and apply insights to future campaigns
  • Contribute to SEO impact creation and optimization initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in copywriting, content development, or marketing communications
  • Background in healthcare and technology industries is required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to articulate ideas clearly and professionally
  • Strong portfolio showcasing writing across digital, social, email, and print channels
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with:
  • Healthcare terminology
  • HIPAA/compliance requirements
  • Accessibility standards
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative and marketing teams
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of AI tools for content creation and optimization preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
