Job overview and purpose: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to identify new business opportunities, engage prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities- Prospect and generate new sales leads through outbound calling, email campaigns, and social selling techniques.
- Research and develop contact lists for lead generation
- Research and identify key decision-makers within targeted leads to initiate contact.
- Conduct outbound prospecting campaigns to initiate contact with leads.
- Craft compelling messaging tailored to different buyer personas and industry verticals.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand the prospect's business needs, pain points, and challenges.
- Gather relevant information to assess whether the prospect is a qualified lead.
- Evaluate the level of interest and qualification of leads before passing them on to BDMs.
- Provide detailed information and context about each lead to help BDMs tailor their approach.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies and improve sales processes. ● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in a Sales Development Representative or similar role in the financial services industry.
- Experience in outbound lead generation, cold calling, and email outreach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot) and sales automation tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge in IT, SaaS, and Financial sector is preferred
