Financial Planning Lead

Job Summary
The Financial Planning Manager will lead financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis activities, leveraging a strong investment banking background to support executive decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive budgeting discipline, capital allocation, performance management, and long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario analysis
- Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights to management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages
- Support capital allocation decisions, including ROI analysis, business cases, and investment evaluations
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives such as pricing, cost optimization, and growth planning
- Apply investment banking rigor to valuation, sensitivity analysis, and financial structuring
- Assist with M&A analysis, due diligence, and post-transaction financial integration (as applicable)
- Act as a trusted finance partner to business unit leaders
- Translate complex financial data into clear, executive-level recommendations
- Improve financial literacy and discipline across the organization
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting efficiency
- Implement best practices in forecasting accuracy and financial governance
- Ensure data integrity and alignment with accounting and controllership teams
Qualifications
Required- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, must be CPA
- 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking
- Prior experience in investment banking (M&A, coverage, or capital markets)
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- Executive-level presentation and communication
- Attention to detail with ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
