Job Overview
The Senior Operations Manager oversees daily operations to meet and exceed business goals, ensuring financial and operational KPIs are consistently achieved. They lead and inspire Operations Managers to drive excellence, employee engagement, and service improvements.Responsibilities include implementing policies, optimizing systems, and monitoring performance through reporting and audits.
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for the Operations lead of a team and for the delivery of the overall operational metrics & sales targets.
- To proactively maintain regular engagement with key contacts from the malls.
- Ensure achievement of the concept store’s Sales targets including day to day service levels, customer experience, quality measures and compliance measures.
- Successfully delivering and managing key launches and peak season in our retail stores.
- Responsible and accountable for the operational performance of the operations managers, area supervisor and store personnel.
- The continuous identification and implementation of operational best practice and continuous proposal of business process improvement to achieve operational efficiency.
- Selecting, effectively managing and coaching Operations Managers.
- Establish operations manual, store policies, key system and processes needed to achieve operational efficiency.
- Ensures store staff are well trained and knowledgeable and upheld the standards of the company.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
- In charge of planning and execution of the local store marketing of the concept store together with the Retail Marketing supervisor.
- Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation.
- Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills at a senior level.
- Experienced in managing multiple store concepts and effective handling of the team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate and to translate business strategy into day-to-day delivery.
- Strong understanding in the retail industry and previous accountability for profit targets.
- Setting and reviewing Quality performance standards.
- Setting and reviewing of organizational / productivity objectives in line with the business plan goals.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
