What is the job?
The Accounting Manager is responsible in leading accounting operations and financial reporting for multiple assigned clients.
Responsibilities:
- Leads month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Reviews reconciliations, journal entries, and work papers, resolving discrepancies
- Prepares and analyzes financial reports to support client decisions
- Manages and mentors staff accountants to improve quality and efficiency
- Oversees client books, balance sheets, and general ledger accuracy
- Implements process improvements and collaborates with clients for efficient reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or manager capacity.
- Experience in public accounting or client accounting services.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online or similar accounting platforms.
