Web Developer (Fulltime, Work from Home)

Job Description:

A web developer is responsible for the design and functionality of websites. They interact with the web and visual designers, analyze website traffic, handle website issues, and upgrade websites as required.

Responsibilities:

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create and test apps for the website
• Code for the site using HTML or XML and/or other programming languages
• Engage with members of their team to ascertain the kind of information the site should contain
• Work with designers, such as graphic designers, to determine the site’s layout
• Integrate audio, video, and graphics into the site
• Quality-test and troubleshoot the website and/or its applications in various browsers

Requirements and skills:

• Degree in computer science or any related computer programming courses.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have a working experience related to HTML5, XML, CSS3 and it related libraries (Bootstrap or Tailwind), JavaScript and its related libraries(React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js), PHP and MySql or MongoDB.
• Have worked experience using this platform called Wordpress, Gatsby/Netlify, Github, Strapi, Laravel, and knowledge on how to implement any headless website.
• Expert or having more experience or knowledge in Shopify and Punchmark is a plus.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
• Passion for learning new web technology.
