Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical system drawings (e.g. plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, HVAC0 and ensure alignment with project requirements before submission to consultants.
• Coordinate and follow up with consultants to resolve design issues and align with the approved project schedule.
• Modify and review combined service/shop drawings, resolving clashes with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines prior to site installation.
• Plan and execute mechanical installation works, ensuring strict adherence to the construction schedule.
• Estimate timeframes and milestone, monitoring project progress accordingly.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to efficiently schedule and supervise site activities.
• Clearly communicate technical information and updates to consultants, team members, and stakeholders.
• Identify and address on-site issues promptly with effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical systems within the construction industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and estimating tools.
• Solid understanding of MEP design principles and coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in railway and industrial projects is a plus.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred but not required
