Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Threat Intelligence Operations- Collect, aggregate, analyze, and operationalize cyber threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, threat actor activities, malware campaigns, vulnerabilities, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Research adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and map findings to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Develop threat profiles, intelligence repositories, and knowledge bases to improve organizational intelligence capabilities.
- Produce tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence reports for technical teams, security leadership, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct structured and unstructured threat hunting activities across enterprise environments.
- Identify indicators of compromise, adversary activity, and suspicious behaviors through intelligence-driven investigations.
- Partner with Detection Engineering teams to develop detection logic, correlation rules, signatures, and monitoring use cases.
- Support purple team, red team, and adversary emulation exercises with threat intelligence insights and attack mapping.
- Collaborate with Incident Response teams during active security incidents by providing threat context, attribution analysis, and remediation recommendations.
- Support SOC analysts by delivering actionable intelligence, threat indicators, and investigative guidance.
- Assist Security Engineering teams in identifying defensive control gaps and recommending security improvements.
- Help Vulnerability Management and Cyber Assurance teams prioritize remediation efforts using threat-informed risk assessments.
- Prepare executive-level intelligence briefings, threat assessments, and cyber risk reports.
- Partner with Cyber Defense, SOC, Security Engineering, Vulnerability Response, Risk Management, and leadership teams.
- Evaluate intelligence program effectiveness and continuously improve intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination processes.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI and automation tools to improve threat intelligence workflows and operational efficiency.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, or Cyber Defense.
- At least 1 year of hands-on threat hunting experience using structured or unstructured methodologies.
- Experience mapping adversary behavior to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience producing intelligence reports, threat briefings, and analytical assessments.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and security analysis.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cyber threat intelligence lifecycle
- Malware and adversary behavior analysis
- Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)
- Threat actor TTPs
- Security monitoring and investigations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as:
- GCTI
- GCIH
- Security+
- CEH
- CISSP
- Equivalent cybersecurity certifications
- Experience utilizing AI or automation tools to enhance intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of ransomware groups, nation-state actors, cybercrime ecosystems, and geopolitical cyber threats.
- Experience working with:
