Production maintenance engineer
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at San Miguel Foods - Magnolia Cavite Plant. As a full-time Production Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the production processes and equipment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
What you'll be doing- Performing preventive and corrective (and emergency) maintenance on production equipment and machinery to maximise uptime and productivity
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns and issues in a timely manner
- Implementing and improving planned maintenance programs and schedules
- Analysing production data and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process optimisation and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Providing technical guidance and training to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field; with active/updated PRC License
- At least 2 years of experience as a Production Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry; preferably food industry.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software, CMMS, and data analysis tools
- Experience with SAP PM maintenance management system is required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices, industrial safety, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritise tasks effectively
- Philippine citizenship is required for this position
