Data Analytics Specialist

Position Summary

The Data Analytics Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing CLLIX’s SQL-based data infrastructure and BI ecosystem. This role will lead the integration of key operational systems — including RMS Cloud (PMS), Lighthouse, STR, and other business platforms — into a centralised reporting environment.

The successful candidate will design scalable database architecture, build data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and deliver insightful Power BI dashboards that support executive, operational, and revenue management decision-making.

This is a hands-on technical role with high impact and visibility across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SQL database architecture to support enterprise-wide reporting.
• Develop a centralised data warehouse or data mart environment.
• Optimise database performance, indexing, and query efficiency.
• Establish data governance, security, and backup/recovery protocols.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
• Select, provision, and manage the cloud environment (e.g., Azure or AWS)

• Build and manage integrations between SQL databases and:

o RMS Cloud (Property Management System)

o Lighthouse (Revenue & Market Intelligence)

• Develop ETL/ELT processes to automate data ingestion and transformation.
• Work with APIs and third-party data connectors to maintain real-time or scheduled data flows.

• Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, and dashboards.
• Create executive, revenue management, finance, and operations reporting suites.
• Design KPI frameworks aligned to occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labour metrics, and financial performance.
• Ensure dashboard usability, performance, and data refresh reliability.
• Provide documentation and training for internal users.

• Partner with Revenue, Finance, Operations, and Executive teams to define reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on data strategy and future system enhancements.

• Establish central SQL reporting database environment.
• Implement automated data integrations from RMS Cloud, Lighthouse, and STR.
• Design and develop databases, data pipelines
• Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and reports
• Launch standardised executive Power BI reporting dashboards.
• Improve reporting speed, accuracy, and data transparency across the business.
• Develop data governance framework and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Database Administrator or Data Engineer.
• Advanced SQL skills (query optimisation, indexing, stored procedures).
• Experience building data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Proven experience integrating third-party systems via APIs.
• Advanced Power BI development (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design).
• Experience working with cloud-based systems and SaaS platforms.

• Hospitality, accommodation, or property management systems is beneficial by not essential
• Experience with RMS Cloud, Lighthouse, STR, or similar platforms is beneficial not essential
• Revenue management reporting experience is beneficial but not essential
• Familiarity with data protection regulations relevant to the hospitality and property management sectors is beneficial but not essential

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and build infrastructure from scratch.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Microsoft certifications (SQL Server, Power BI) are highly regarded
