What is the job?

The associate will handle AP entries, reconcile invoices and statements, and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Record and process accounts payable transactions accurately in the accounting system
• Verify invoice details, including amounts, terms, and payment instructions, prior to entry
• Ensure compliance with company policies and payment authorization procedures
• Handle customer inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies, payment status, and account balances
• Reconcile invoices and statements regularly to maintain accurate and complete records
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payment records

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Knowledgeable in AP processes, including entries, invoice reconciliation, and statement reviews
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, OneNote for information management)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate processing and record-keeping
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for vendor correspondence
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and complete work reliably and efficiently
