About the role
Focal Sight International Inc. is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cashier/Eyewear Consultant to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu.
This is a multi-function role covering cash handling, documentation, inventory, and customer service. Applicants should be comfortable with an active work environment and committed to long-term employment.- Cashiering & Financial Accountability
- Handles end-to-end cash and non-cash transactions (cash, cards, e-wallets, online payments) with strict accuracy.
- Responsible for POS operations, daily sales review, end-of-day reconciliation, bank deposits, petty cash, and settlement reports.
- Maintains transaction records, BIR notebook updates, and reports discrepancies or system issues promptly.
- This role requires someone trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling money daily.
- Documentation, Inventory & Coordination
- Manages sales documentation, returns, refunds, delivery receipts, and official receipts submitted to Accounting.
- Conducts daily inventory checks of accessories and verifies deliveries from Logistics, including quality control.
- Processes HMO/Medicard claims and coordinates regularly with Accounting and Branch Management.
- Best fit for candidates who are organized, process-driven, and can follow procedures consistently.
- Customer Service & Eyewear Support
- Assists customers with payments, inquiries, complaints, returns, and exchanges while maintaining a professional, friendly approach.
- Supports sales through basic product knowledge, cross-selling, and proper endorsement to opticians or sales staff.
- Ensures a clean, orderly cashier area and contributes to a positive in-store experience.
- Ideal for applicants who can balance customer service with operational discipline.
