About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Officer to join our growing team. The company is a global technical solutions company . This role is ideal for a professional who has built a strong foundation in Audit and has successfully transitioned into Accounting operations.The Accounting Officer will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting business decisions through sound accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial goals.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Finance Department.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Audit, with demonstrated transition into Accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting systems/software.
