Key Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer Global IT, you will:
- Define and implement global IT standards, technologies, and processes to support our worldwide operations.
- Lead and support international IT projects, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with business goals.
- Analyze, monitor, and optimize core system technologies, including operating systems, databases, and system management tools.
- Architect, implement, and support logical and physical server and network topologies.
- Develop software solutions and scripts to improve performance, automation, and IT resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and external consultants.
- Manage and develop change requests together with process owners and project managers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and corporate policies.
- Conduct training for worldwide service desks and create documentation for key processes.
- Act as a role model in line with Ivoclar’s corporate values.
What You'll Bring:
- A completed bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations (e.g., SAP Basis), and SQL databases.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages.
- Excellent skills in analytical thinking, documentation, and technical writing.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management skills, and the ability to work in virtual, distributed teams.
- A customer‑oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
- Trustworthiness, flexibility, and resilience under pressure.
- Willingness to provide on‑call support and travel internationally as needed.
