The Hydraulic Backhoe Excavator Operator is responsible for operating and controlling heavy equipment used in excavation, grading, trenching and other earth-moving operations. The operators ensures the safe and efficient handling of the backhoe excavator to support various construction activities on site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate hydraulic backhoe excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavation works.Perform daily inspection and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Load and unload materials, debris, and other items using the excavator.
Follow safety standards and project specifications at all times.
Coordinate with site supervisor and other equipment operators for efficient workflow.
Report any mechanical issues or equipment damage immediately.
Assist minor repairs, cleaning, and lubrication of the machine when needed.
Maintain accurate operation logs and fuel usage records.
Ensure the machine is parked and secured properly after each shift.
Qualifications/Requirements- At least High School or Vocational Course Graduate
- NC II Certificate holder
- Valid Driver's License (Restriction Code 8)
- Experience as a Backhoe Operator or any heavy equipment vehicle
