Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building robust data pipelines and solutions that support real-time analytics and data-driven decision-making for core banking operations. You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Perform data wrangling and transformation using SQL and Python
• Automate data ingestion and integration processes
• Ensure high data quality and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Collaborate across teams to deliver business-driven data solutions
• Explore and implement new tools and data sources
• Optimize performance and reliability of data systems

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or software development
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and relational databases
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling (e.g., star schema)
• Experience with MLOps practices and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Technical Skills:

• Required: SQL, Python, Git, Excel, Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Nice to have: Snowflake, Databricks, Data Modeling, Microsoft Office

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related field
