- CPA qualified
- Minimum of 6-7 years of external audit experience in a public accounting or audit firm is required
- Demonstrated experience independently leading external audit engagements from planning through completion
- Previous experience supervising, coaching, and developing audit professionals
- Strong understanding of external audit methodology, financial reporting standards, audit risk assessment, and quality assurance
- Proficient in CaseWare, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, judgment, planning, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Commercially aware, ethical, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality audit work
- Adaptable, collaborative, and customer-focused with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work onsite in Makati
Responsibilities
Technical (50%)- Run and control assigned audit engagements
- Ensure successful completion of audits using technical expertise
- Perform audit analytics, work paper preparation, financial statement preparation, documentation, system evaluations, confirmations, reviews, and compilations
- Maintain quality and timely completion of audit files
- Schedule meetings and resolve workflow disruptions
- Support staff by addressing queries and guiding audit tasks
- Complete timesheets and budget engagement tasks
- Monitor time usage and escalate budget concerns when necessary
- Update priorities and contribute to process improvements
- Attend training sessions and self-study activities to strengthen technical and soft skills
- Stay updated on software, audit tools, and industry practices
- Participate in team meetings and share knowledge with colleagues
- Delegate and assign tasks to team members
- Lead team meetings and review assignments
- Address staff concerns, review performance, and support recruitment initiatives
- Mentor and coach team members
- Provide on-the-job training
- Conduct training needs analysis and facilitate learning sessions
