We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to become a pivotal subject matter expert for implementations of leading GenAI-powered legal tech platforms. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional legal practice and step into a high-impact role at the forefront of legal innovation.
As a dedicated resource for these implementations, you will be the critical bridge between our clients' sophisticated legal teams and our internal technical teams. You will ensure that the AI-powered contract review and negotiation tools are finely tuned to meet their specific needs, solidifying our position as a market-leading implementation partner.As a senior member of the Execo Global Legal Team, you will work in close collaboration with our key leaders in this space, including our Head of GenAI implementations, and our Head of Gen AI Solutions.
What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Lead consultative workshops and discussions with client legal teams (primarily US-based) to deeply understand and document their contract negotiation playbooks, standard redlining positions, and risk tolerance.
- Legal Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary legal domain expert in client-facing meetings, confidently articulating the capabilities of GenAI legal technology and guiding clients through the process of defining their redlining rules and negotiation instructions.
- Technical Translation & Collaboration: Translate the client’s legal requirements into clear, actionable inputs for the technical team, enabling them to build and configure precise AI models and prompts within the software.
- Quality Assurance & Validation: Conduct expert-level reviews of the final output from the platform to ensure it aligns perfectly with the client’s specified legal and commercial requirements.
- Implementation & Testing Support: Actively engage with and support clients during their User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, helping them validate the tool's performance and gathering feedback for further refinement.
- Legal Qualification: A qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction with a strong academic background.
- Extensive Commercial Contracts Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of robust post-qualification experience (PQE) with deep expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts. Experience with US and international counterparties is highly preferred.
- Client-Facing Excellence: Proven ability to engage with senior lawyers and stakeholders at client organizations. You must project credibility, build trust, and speak as a peer, adopting a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
- Technical Acumen & Interest: A genuine passion for legal innovation and technology. While you don't need to be a coder, you must have a strong aptitude for understanding how technology like GenAI can be applied to legal processes. Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional Communication: Flawless written and verbal English communication skills. You must be adept at translating complex legal nuances into simple, clear instructions for a technical audience and vice-versa.

Critical Requirement: Work Schedule & Global Collaboration
This role requires significant real-time collaboration with clients based in the United States. The successful candidate must be available for regular meetings (2-3x a week) during US business hours.- This typically corresponds to late evenings in India (approx. 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST).
- This typically corresponds to very late evenings/early mornings in Manila (approx. 10:30 PM - 1:30 AM PHT).
This schedule is essential for direct client engagement and the success of our implementation projects. Our hybrid model provides flexibility outside of these core collaboration hours.
