• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate comprehensive credit reports and loan proposals for both local and international corporate clients.
• Ensure that credit recommendations adhere to the bank’s internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with clients to understand financial needs and develop tailored loan packages, including risk mitigation strategies.
• Generate, consolidate, and interpret data for periodic reports required by the Bank’s overseas Head Office.
• Interpret and apply regional and international banking regulations to support consistent compliance.
• Review internal workflows and recommend improvements to enhance process efficiency and risk management.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline the credit application and evaluation process.
• Serve as a primary liaison for Mandarin-speaking clients and foreign branches, requiring fluency in both Mandarin and English.
• Interpret and translate financial and legal documents to and from Mandarin as needed, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Provide expert guidance and mentoring to junior credit officers, especially in matters involving international credit evaluation and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other related tasks and special assignments as may be delegated by senior

management in support of the bank’s strategic goals.

1. Education:

• Must be a graduate of a four-year college course, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields from a recognized academic institution.

1. Professional Experience:

• Must have at least five (5) years of progressive managerial experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on credit operations and loan management.
• Proven experience in credit risk analysis, cross-border loan structuring, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and regulatory compliance in an international banking environment.

1. Language Proficiency:

• Excellent command of both English and Mandarin, including advanced skills in business writing, professional communication, and document interpretation.
• Capability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, translate legal and financial documents, and coordinate with overseas branches and headquarters.

• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in managing sensitive financial information.
