Job Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s overall business operations, including e-commerce, brand management, digital marketing, inventory and supply chain coordination, workforce management, and operational compliance.

This role ensures efficient daily operations, scalable business growth, strong organizational performance, and alignment with company goals and culture. The Director of Operations will lead cross-functional teams, improve operational systems and processes, drive revenue growth across multiple platforms, and ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine labor regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operational & Business Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and operational standards to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Monitor and improve workflows, productivity, and operational efficiency across departments.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in the Philippines.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support business growth and scalability.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to align operational objectives with overall business goals.
  1. Workforce & Organizational Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Establish and maintain a strong company culture aligned with organizational values.
  • Identify staffing needs and support recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
  • Develop internal leadership capabilities and succession planning strategies.
  • Address employee concerns and improve workforce engagement and collaboration.
  1. Employee Development & Performance Management
  • Implement competency frameworks, training programs, and evaluation systems to standardize employee development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure employees receive the necessary tools and support to succeed.
  • Develop performance improvement initiatives and productivity enhancement strategies.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning within the organization.
  1. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management best practices, including stock tracking, replenishment planning, and SKU rationalization.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and fulfillment centers to streamline order processing, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Monitor and optimize fulfillment strategies, including dropshipping, just-in-time (JIT) inventory, and warehousing solutions.
  • Implement automation tools and operational software to improve efficiency and supply chain visibility.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships with logistics providers to improve shipping rates, delivery reliability, and overall service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and marketplace fulfillment policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within supply chain operations.
  1. Financial & Budget Management
  • Oversee operational expenses and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets.
  • Track operational costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining efficiency.
  • Support resource allocation and financial planning initiatives for business needs.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, including conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), click-through rates (CTR), customer lifetime value (CLV), and return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in operations management, supply chain, or business administration, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, logistics coordination, fulfillment operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and organizational development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, ERP systems, inventory management tools, and operational software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, workplace compliance, and operational regulations is preferred.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and leadership.
