Job Description

1. Assists in reviewing and regularly monitors Quality Objective to ensure that the set Quality Objectives of the section are achieved and monitored.
2. Reviews each Manufacturing Orders carefully.
3. Prepares preventive maintenance schedule for all of the machines and checks each machine to avoid breakdown.
4. Reports incidents to the Department Manager if necessary and recommends courses of action that maybe useful to the Company.
5. Prepares production and other required reports.
6. Assesses in the training and development needs of the subordinates by filling-up of the training needs assessment form.
7. Provides guidance, assistance and acts as On-The-Job-Trainer for subordinates to

1. Appraises and evaluates subordinates.
2. Sees to it and reminds subordinates on the maintenance of cleanliness and order in work areas, including machines, materials, and tools used.
3. Performs everyday duties while ensuring compliance to the existing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedure.
4. Performs managerial tasks when the immediate manager is not around and monitors daily production output & waste percentage, and ensures both are within specified targets. Reviews target on a weekly basis in order to ensure that KPIs are under control and provide necessary corrective action if needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

College Graduate, preferably Engineering Course or a Two-Year Technical Course Graduate or a College qualification but with equivalent experience/exposure.

Experience : Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory position in a manufacturing setting

• 8 hour shift
