We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Juniper networking technologies, including Juniper Mist, SRX Firewalls, EX Switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and Cradlepoint solutions.
This role requires a solid understanding of network operations, security, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure the availability and reliability of enterprise network services.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, support, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Juniper technologies.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Juniper Mist, SRX Firewalls, EX Switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and Cradlepoint devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Investigate and resolve network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and configuration changes while minimizing service disruption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support business and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Support network security initiatives by implementing firewall policies, secure connectivity, and access controls.
- Evaluate and leverage Generative AI (GenAI) tools to improve operational efficiency, automate routine administrative tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Support Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Juniper Mist
- Juniper SRX Firewalls
- Juniper EX Switches
- Wireless Access Points (WAP)
- Cradlepoint networking solutions
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wireless Networking.
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Juniper Mist AI and cloud-managed networking.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) tools for operational automation and workflow optimization.
- Juniper certifications such as JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SEC, or higher are highly preferred.
- Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments.
