SECURITY ANALYST (BGC)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring & Alert Handling (SOC/L1): Actively monitor dashboards and review system logs to triage and analyze alerts generated by SIEM platforms, flagging and escalating potential security threats.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform proactive vulnerability scans across servers and networks, conduct simulated attacks (penetration testing), and ensure security patches are applied.
- Security Architecture & Maintenance: Recommend, install, and manage security tools including encryption solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) software, and Access Control Management systems.
- Documentation & Security Training: Develop and update Incident Response / Disaster Recovery plans, and conduct security awareness training (e.g., phishing prevention) to reduce human risk.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any related technical field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! (Relevant internships, academic projects, or capstone projects in cybersecurity/SOC are a major plus).
- Technical Proficiency & Knowledge:
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with SIEM concepts, system logs, and basic threat-monitoring techniques.
- Conceptual knowledge of vulnerability scanning, patch management, and basic encryption/access controls.
- Certifications (Advantage): CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps, or any entry-level security certifications.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, keen attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and clear communication skills.
