The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent for technical and non technical roles within the organization. This role requires strong sourcing strategies, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of IT roles, technologies, construction and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify staffing needs in collaboration with Head of Department (HoDs).
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, online job portals, headhunters/professional networks, social media, referrals, internal databases and other hiring resources.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of IT professionals (IT Engineer and ECE Engineers).
  • Create job description with the help and collaboration of the managers/directors.
  • Review resumes and evaluate candidates’ technical and soft skills.
  • Conduct initial screening, interviews, schedule succeeding interviews and technical assessments/trade tests.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure smooth candidate experience.
  • Administer pre employment checking or background investigation.
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the process.
  • Maintain compliance with recruitment policies and employment regulations.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill/turn-around-time (TAT), source effectiveness, and hiring quality.
  • Work closely with managers/directors to understand job requirements and technical expectations.
  • Advise hiring teams on market trends and competitive compensation.
  • Create engaging job posts.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records or tracking system.
  • Prepare daily recruitment report for management.
  • Prepare Job Offer, Contracts and Induction Plan.
  • Collect and manage the employees’ pre-employment requirements.
  • Administer the New Hire Orientation (NHO).
  • Encoding of employee record to the HR System (Sprout & Kaonavi)
  • Ensure the timely filing of Employee 201 and updating of Employee Master List.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT roles, construction and railway skills, and technologies.
  • Experience using sourcing tools – JobStreet, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Experienced using Canva or any other tool for creating job posts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organized and can work in a fast paced environment.
