Job Description

• Conduct daily check of ultrasound equipment, machine cleaning, and set up the room for patient scanning
• Ensure that patients are being attended to in a timely manner
• Responsible for the proper use of company systems and PACS, including E-medcore and Lifesys
• Verify the requested procedure on E-medcore by checking the prescription or physician request form
• Verify identity, obtain consent and appropriate history from patients prior performing the procedure
• Perform thorough and accurate patient medical history before the procedure
• Prepare and ensure proper positioning of patient during ultrasound procedure
• Explain the procedure to the patient and politely answer their questions to alleviate concerns
• Operate ultrasound machine to produce high quality diagnostic images
• Perform various scans below within the required turnaround time
• Breast
• Whole Abdomen
• Thyroid Gland
• Prostate Gland
• Kidneys & Urinary Bladder (KUB)- Prevoid and Postvoid
• HepatobiliaryTree (HBT)
• Pelvic Organs (ovaries &uterus)
• Document patient history that requires further investigation by the Physician
• Perform quality assurance of results for clarity, detail, and diagnostic value
• Prepare template of result and communicate to Radiologist for confirmation
• Checks patient results carefully before sending and makes sure they're released on time
• Ensure timely completion and submission of diagnostic procedures and reports in alignment with clinic-set TAT standards
• Handles all patient data and diagnostic results with strict confidentiality and in accordance with the Data Privacy policy
• Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to the following:
• Accurately complete the ultrasound/X-ray result form
• Send images and video clips to the radiologist for interpretation
• Upload the radiologist’s findings into the system
• Review and quality-check results prior to release
• Email and/or uploading of finalized results to the patient
• Update and maintain the daily census log
• Monitor the supplies used for ultrasound procedure
• Extend assistance to other PCCs when additional support is needed due to staffing gaps
• Assist the Radiologist or OB Sonologist with special ultrasound procedures only when there is no designated OB/Radiology Assistant available to support them in the clinic
• Handles queries from walk-in and email inquiries, as well as scheduling of patients
• Report any technical issues and machine malfunctions to Chief Radiologic Technologist
• Immediately reportany criticalfindings, suchasapossiblestroke, mass, or life-threatening condition, to the Chief Radiologic Technologist and ensure they are quickly communicated to the radiologist and attending physician for fast action and better care
• Must be able to perform manual workarounds in case of system downtime or technical issues.
• Transferring diagnostic files via flash drive when network access is limited
• Using cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive) for temporary backup or team access
• Ensuring data accuracy and security when handling and transmitting patient files
• Participate in trainings to strengthen capabilities and drive ongoing professional growth
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time

• Must be a graduate of BS Radiologic Technology
• Must have valid PRC license
• Must have a certification from a credible training center for Ultrasound
• Good understanding of anatomy, diseases, and medical terms
• Knows the basics of how to identify and fix common issues in an ultrasound machine
• Able to perform basic administrative tasks related to ultrasound work (computer works)
• Can operate an ultrasound machine confidently
• Able to finish scanning a patient within prescribed turnaround time
• Has good communication and people skills
• Flexible and amenable to work in shifting schedule
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive team player and displays a strong work ethic
• Compassionate and sincerely dedicated to assisting patients.
