AU Bookkeeper (BAS & Xero Proficient) - Part Time

Client Information

The Company is a globally operating entertainment business specializing in music-related services, including talent representation, event coordination, music distribution, and live production support. With an established international presence, the organization works across multiple markets and continues to expand its reach within the live entertainment and creative industry.

• Perform weekly bank reconciliations across multiple Xero accounts
• Monitor and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments
• Process and manage artist superannuation payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and transaction allocations
• Assist with preparation of monthly payment schedules and purchase orders
• Track and reconcile artist payments and commission deductions
• Prepare and compile BAS documentation for accountant review and lodgement
• Support month-end bookkeeping processes and reporting
• Maintain organised bookkeeping records and financial documentation
• Assist with general accounts administration and ad hoc bookkeeping tasks

• Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration
• Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial transaction processing
• Understanding of Australian superannuation requirements
• Experience preparing BAS documentation preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage recurring workflows
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable learning and following established internal processes

Home Office Requirements

• Perfectly working headset and webcam
• Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps ~ 50 Mbps
• Up to date computer system with a minimum of Windows 10 or later and macOS Monterey (12.0) or later
• Quiet room with no distractions or background noises
