Job Description
Position: Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary:The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supervising accounting staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the accounting team.
- Prepare and review financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and government requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
- Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements.
- Perform other accounting-related duties assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work on-site in Mandaluyong City.
