Job Summary:

The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for employees. This role ensures that team members acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and align with the organization’s goals.

The Training Supervisor works closely with department heads to identify training needs and develops strategies to enhance employee performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development: Design and develop training materials, modules, and curriculums based on organizational goals. Design training activities and initiatives according to the requirements of Brand, Marketing or other stakeholders. Customize training programs to address specific departmental or individual needs. Create a training journey for new hires and existing staff
  2. Training Delivery: Conduct in-house training sessions using effective methods (e.g., workshops, roleplays, e-learning, etc.) within and outside Metro Manila Facilitate Soft Skills, Product Training and Refresher programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance reviews. Maintain records of training calendar and activities and analyze outcomes to identify areas of improvement.
  4. Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with Retail Ops, Brand and Marketing managers of various principals to identify skill gaps and future training needs. Coordinate with external training vendors, if required, to deliver specialized programs.
  5. Supervision: Oversee a team of trainers or training assistants, assigning tasks, monitors completion rates and providing guidance. Ensure adherence to training schedules and quality standards. Conduct bi-monthly trainer facilitation evaluation
  6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure training programs comply with company policies and legal requirements. Prepare regular reports for management detailing training activities, attendance, and results. Ensure all training activities are tracked with completion rates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  1. Experience:
  • Proven experience in training and development, retail operations preferably in a supervisory role.
  1. Key Skills:
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to assess and analyze training needs.
  1. Interpersonal Abilities:
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Guide and inspire trainers and team members to perform at their best
  • Clear setting of expectations and provide direction during training programs
  • Problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Handle unexpected training situations
  • Foster collaborative environment by resolving conflicts effectively
  • Find creative solutions to improve engagement and learning outcome
  1. Certifications:
  • Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPTD) or equivalent is preferred but not required
  1. Experience in Retail is a MUST.
  2. Must be willing to report in Cubao, Quezon City
  3. Have at least 1-2years of experience as Training Supervisor in Retail Industry
