Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of materials and finished goods. This role monitors inventory accuracy, implements warehouse procedures, and ensures compliance with food safety, GMP, and safety standards.The Warehouse Supervisor leads warehouse staff, coordinates with Production, Procurement, and Logistics, and ensures timely, accurate movement of goods to support uninterrupted plant operations. This role is essential in maintaining organized, safe, and efficient warehouse workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise warehouse personnel and daily warehouse activities.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, storage, picking, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation.
- Maintain warehouse layout, cleanliness, GMP, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Production, and Purchasing on material needs.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO implementation for raw materials and finished goods.
- Prepare and review warehouse reports (inventory, variances, movement).
- Address discrepancies, damages, and operational issues promptly.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Train staff on SOPs, safety standards, and warehouse best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years warehouse experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Background in food manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing systems, and GMP.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with WMS or ERP is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as needed.
