Clinical Consultant - Pharmacist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Pharmacy Technician to support our Clinical Consulting and Client Management teams. In this role, you will provide operational, analytical, and administrative support, ensuring accurate reporting, efficient processes, and high-quality client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:
- Provide operational and administrative support to Clinical Consultants to drive strong client satisfaction and retention
- Prepare accurate, timely, and professionally formatted reports with minimal supervision
- Develop client-specific deliverables such as formulary extracts, Preferred Drug Lists, utilization reports, clinical program materials, Medispan updates, and P&T documentation
- Manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Monitor and triage inquiries via shared mailboxes or task systems, ensuring responses meet service level expectations
- Support client onboarding, implementation, and maintenance activities
- Assist in identifying and implementing report automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- Create and maintain report documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support preparation for client meetings, including quarterly performance reviews and presentation materials (PowerPoint)
- Perform data validation, analysis, and interpretation of report outputs
- Conduct testing and provide results based on defined criteria
- Participate in client calls, team meetings, and cross-functional discussions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of outputs and commitments
- Maintain tools such as databases, trackers, and Excel macros
- Serve as a subject matter resource and assist in training or mentoring junior team members
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician certification (required or must be obtained within 1 year)
- At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (functions like SUM, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, and basic macros)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Solid analytical and reporting capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- College degree in a related field
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology (e.g., NDC, GPI, Therapeutic Class)
- Experience with systems such as RxClaim (AS400), RxBuilder, RxTrack, Showcase, or Attachmate
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access
