A Bread Baker has the Key Responsibilities of:
  • Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stock Management: Monitor food and supply stocks, restocking items as necessary, and assisting with inventory counts.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that kitchen equipment is kept in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the kitchen manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with bread bakers to ensure efficient service and communication during product preparation and service times.
  • Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage practices.
