KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Distributor Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Negotiate terms, pricing and promotional support with distributors to align with company objectives. Address distributor issues, such as delivery delays or inventory shortages to maintain strong service levels.
  • Distribution Coordination – Monitor and manage inventory levels with distributors to ensure product availability. Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstock.
  • Ensure distributors are equipped to deliver products to retail partners, including grocery stores and specialty retailers.
  • Promotional Campaign Support – Collaborate with the Trade Marketing Manager to provide distributors with promotional materials. Ensure distributors understand campaign goals and timelines to support retail execution.
  • Track promotional performance through distributor feedback and sales data.
  • Sales Support – Work with the Regional Sales Manager to align distribution efforts with regional sales strategies. Provide distributors with product updates, pricing changes and campaign details to ensure consistent messaging. Support sales teams by ensuring product availability for key accounts during promotional periods
  • Data Analysis and Reporting – Analyze distribution performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates and delivery times to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor sales data to assess the impact of promotions and distributor performance. Prepare reports for leadership on distribution efficiency and campaign outcomes.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance – Ensure distributors adhere to company standards for product handling, storage and delivery to maintain quality. Verify compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits or check-ins with distributors to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with the Product Manager to ensure new product launches are effectively distributed. Work with the Sales Admin Manager to streamline order processing and reporting.
  • Market Expansion – Identify and onboard new distributors to expand market reach, particularly for niche products.
  • Support entry into new retail channels or regions through strategic distributor partnerships.
