Application Support Engineer

• Respond to and resolve support tickets for application and API-related issues.
• Use tools like Postman to test, validate, and troubleshoot API requests.
• Review and analyze application and system logs to identify root causes of issues.
• Monitor application performance using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Datadog.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices for internal reference.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability and performance.
• Provide clear and professional communication to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Experience in application support or technical support roles.
• Proficiency with APIs and tools like Postman.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze logs.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: Grafana, Kibana, or Datadog.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have:

• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.).
• SQL knowledge for querying databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise-level applications.
