The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely across multiple business units.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with management to prepare budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Strengthen internal controls and policies to ensure the integrity of all financial information.
• Coordinate and lead audit processes, liaise with external auditors, and prepare audit schedules. Conduct complex account reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations, with at least five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of QuickBooks Online experience; familiarity with platforms like Bill.com and Ramp is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Stable employment history, demonstrating reliability and consistency in professional roles.
