About the role
Mobelhaus Phils., Inc. is seeking a skilled Furniture Finishing Color Technician to join our team in Mandaue City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to our custom-made furniture, ensuring a flawless and consistent look that reflects our brand.This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in furniture finishing and colour techniques within a growing company that values craftsmanship and attention to detail.
What you'll be doing- Prepare surfaces of furniture pieces by sanding, priming, and cleaning to ensure a smooth finish
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, and other finishing products to furniture using spraying, brushing, or other techniques
- Expertly match colours and finishes to customer specifications and internal design standards
- Inspect finished pieces to identify and correct any imperfections or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support efficient and high-quality work
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of finished products
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a furniture finishing colour technician or similar role in the furniture manufacturing industry
- Proficient in using a variety of finishing equipment and techniques, including spraying, brushing, and hand-rubbing
- Excellent colour-matching skills and an eye for detail to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve finishing issues
- Ability to read and interpret finishing specifications and work orders
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment
