Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) Supervisor

Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) Supervisor coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and dispatch schedules; conferring with department leaders to determine progress of work and completion dates as well as inventory levels.

• Creates daily production planning based on the actual inventory.
• Follow-up as required with all personnel involve expediting flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
• Maintains the forecast as provided by Customer Service, analyses the output, and acts to support the needs of our customers.
• Establishes stocking and replenishment levels for manufactured inventory.
• Oversees all aspects of Dispatching and Receiving and Material Handling.
• Supervises hourly workforce tasked with final preparation and packaging of completed products.
• Manage the cycle count process, analyze variances and update inventory as required to ensure accurate part count information.
• Executes, maintains and continuously improves the internal process in support of company objectives.
• Reports to management key measurements regarding work order status, manufacturing floor utilization levels, and On-Time Delivery.
