The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role involves preparing financial reports, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supervising junior finance staff.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Monitor cash flow and company expenditures
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
Supervise and support accounting staff with daily operations
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
Help implement and improve financial systems and controls
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
CPA license is an advantage
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
