QA/QC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our client's firm in Marikina City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.

• Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures to monitor and evaluate the quality of construction materials, processes, and finished products
• Conduct regular site inspections, testing, and documentation to identify and address any non-conformities or defects
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner
• Provide technical guidance and training to construction personnel on quality standards and best practices
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports on quality performance to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and the company's quality management system
• - Design and develop electrical systems and layouts for new construction and renovation projects
• Preparation of electrical plans, technical drawings, schematics, and load schedules
• Supervise and inspect installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (e.g., PEC, NEC), safety standards, and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field ( BS Architecture )
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry
• Thorough knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control techniques
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
