JOB SUMMARY:

A Financial Assistant Manager assists in managing an organization's financial activities by overseeing daily operations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Key duties include supervising accounting staff, ensuring financial compliance, managing accounts payable and receivable, and collaborating with other departments on financial matters.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage payroll salary calculation and pay slip generation.
  • Monthly financial reconciliation and verify payment advice.
  • Monitor and manage Accounts Payable.
  • Support preparation and filing for corporate income tax.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor expenses, review variances and provide recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or ACCA equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience with e-commerce financial reporting.
  • Familiar with tax regulations.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCY:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of internal controls and audit processes.
  • Ability to detect discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software.
  • Familiar with tax regulations
