The Cashier is responsible for managing customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering a warm and positive customer experience. This role ensures proper handling of payments, accurate recording of sales, and smooth front-of-house operations aligned with Cafe K’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing of orders
- Maintain an organized and balanced cash drawer
- Monitor and record daily sales transactions
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order release
- Address customer inquiries and basic concerns professionally
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
- Support inventory monitoring for point-of-sale items
- Adhere to company policies and operational procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- At least Senior High School graduate (College level preferred)
- Previous experience in cashiering, retail, or food service is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- Detail-oriented and numerically accurate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
- Willing to work in Makati and on shifting schedules, including weekends
