Job Title:Java Web Developer

Location:Makati

Set-up:2-3x RTO a week | 9am-6pm

Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Java Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java-based technologies and a solid understanding of front-end and back-end integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance banking applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and RDBMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Contribute to frontend integration using React and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and optimize code for efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain code standards, and support continuous improvement.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and apply them to improve application functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in Java development with Spring Boot, SQL, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to front-end technologies, especially React.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
• Background in financial or banking applications.
• Awareness of application security principles in the banking domain.
