Electrical Engineer

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.
• Perform system calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and improvements for existing electrical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at project sites.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain detailed project reports, design documents, and testing records.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Proven experience in electrical system design and project implementation (e.g., 3+ years).
• Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar).
• Strong understanding of circuit design, power systems, and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC, IEC).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Safety officer.
• Experience in various airport electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC programming, control systems, communication or automation systems.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site in industrial or construction environments and under the sun when needed.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
