LABORATORY RECEPTIONIST

Greets patients and healthcare providers enthusiastically and politely and answer

any inquiries professionally.

Examines the integrity of specimens submitted in the laboratory and incorporates

proper rejection protocols for specimens that fail the criteria.

Facilitates the queuing of walk-in patients or Out-patients extractions.
Coordinates with the phlebotomist for any pending blood extractions for walk-in

patients.

Facilitates the releasing of printed results for Out-patients.
Consults with medical technologists for any technical questions asked by the patients

and for any problems encountered in the receiving section/ reception area.

Any other tasks as may be required to deliver and fulfill all the desired outcomes in

all the Key Result Areas according to their respective standards of performance.

Other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

A graduate of a 4-year course
Must have strong customer service, communication skills, and computer literate.
