Quality Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Operations.
• Six Sigma Certification is an advantage.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven experience in the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), preferably ISO 9001.
• Advanced proficiency in computer applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to identify, define, and ensure compliance with critical quality requirements.
• Prepare, develop, and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and other quality-related requirements for new and existing product launches.
• Support and actively participate in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform duties as an Internal Quality Auditor, including planning, conducting, and reporting audit activities.
• Conduct Supplier Quality Assessments and Audits and ensure compliance with applicable material and regulatory requirements.
• Support the administration and maintenance of the company's Calibration Management System to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measuring equipment.
• Provide quality support for new product introductions and maintain accurate reports, records, and documentation as required.
• Train, mentor, and lead team members as directed, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Drive and sustain internal product and process quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product performance.
• Share expertise, knowledge, and best practices to contribute to the continuous growth and development of the organization.
• Exercise authority to stop the processing, shipment, delivery, or use of non-conforming products or materials until appropriate corrective actions and dispositions have been implemented.
• Make independent decisions regarding product quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
