The Opportunity

You’ll design innovative processes, work directly with Australian clients, and leverage your analytical skills to deliver strategic insights that shape business success - all while enjoying unique perks like travel to Sydney.

• Oversee and execute advanced bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and month-end accounting entries for Australian SMEs, identifying trends and optimization opportunities.
• Manage payroll process with precision, ensuring compliance with Australian taxation, superannuation, and statutory obligations while analyzing variances for strategic improvements.
• Manage receivables, payables, and BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation, and exposure to financial models to enhance client cash flow and compliance.
• Design scalable finance processes, leveraging technology to solve complex operational challenges and drive efficiency across multiple clients.
• Partner with Australian businesses, delivering professional, customer-facing support and actionable insights to influence high-stakes decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with Honours from a Top 4 Philippine university
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or payroll, with proven technical excellence in any area (e.g., mastery of IFRS, Philippine tax, or advanced modeling).
• Qualified CPA in the Philippines a must.
• Eagerness to master Xero and Australian financial systems (prior experience with Australian accounting standards or Xero is not required).
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with a willingness to learn financial forecasting, variance analysis, and data-driven problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable collaborating in a lean team, engaging with Australian clients, and presenting complex insights with clarity.
• A growth-oriented mindset with a passion for tackling intellectual challenges and delivering high-impact work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, taking initiative to innovate processes and seize strategic opportunities.
• Familiarization with AI and LLMs to get proven outcomes.
