What You'll Do- End User Technology Team will help to support systems and technologies that advance workplace productivity throughout the FactSet organization. Responsibilities of the Corporate Support Engineer include supporting and deploying computing systems, providing end-user support and training, proactively promoting computing best practices, and maintaining IT equipment inventories that are up to date.
- The Corporate Support Engineer will work closely with other CSS engineers to handle day-to-day activities, making use of tracking and monitoring tools, such as the Incidents Database, and maintenance of documentation and procedures.
- Must be willing to work in a 24/7 shifting environment, including overtime to support global call queue requirements.
- A successful candidate for this role will have strong technical and troubleshooting skills along with a strong desire to continuously improve infrastructure and the corporate computing environment. The employee is expected to be an escalation point for Data Center Operations as well as the ability to negotiate resolutions.
- Deliver advanced support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and UC/A/V systems, including hybrid meeting environments and VoIP deployments.
- Maintain UC hardware/software performance (e.g. Crestron, Logitech), resolve connectivity issues, and manage user requests via ticketing tools (RPD, Jira, TMS).
- Contribute to documentation, cross-team collaboration, onboarding coordination, and rollout of systems, upgrades, and applications.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent
- 3 - 5 Years of work experience in Windows desktop / Server operating systems
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Knowledgeable in Windows and MAC OS
- Working experience / Training in Windows desktop / Server Operating systems
- Troubleshooting OS related issues
- Active Directory support – Level 1
- Troubleshooting Software/Hardware-related Issues
- Good knowledge about hardware peripherals / Printer configurations / Laptops / Software / VPN, / Video conferencing
- Good Experience / Knowledge of Basic Networking, Citrix, and MS Products (0365, OneDrive, Azure, Intune, CloudPC, etc.)
