Maintenance mechanical engineer

About the role

Grandspan Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Binangonan Rizal. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our mechanical systems and equipment.

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, and other heavy and light machines and equipment in a Steel Fabrication Plant.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan and performance of equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and coordinate the necessary repairs
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Analyse equipment performance data and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any operational bottlenecks

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer in Steel Fabrication Industry
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a maintenance team and coordinate complex projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant Mechanical Engineering standards, regulations, and best practices
• Experience in Steel Fabrication Plant maintenance.
