Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join our Mining & Geotechnical Group to focus on supporting the wider team offering innovative solutions and delivering highquality projects for our internal, existing, and new clients. Additional focus on broadening skills in planning, design, and construction.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Perform general civil engineering tasks (design calculations, data analysis, using software to undertake engineering design).
- Prepare / contribute to design and technical reports.
- Assist with coordination of design work from other disciplines.
- Undertake site visit/assessment, compile data and assist with analysis and evaluation.
- Consult with design stakeholders to further best-for-project outcomes. Explain technical information to stakeholders.
- May act as Project Manager for smaller, routine projects, responsible for project documentation (scope of work etc.) and managing client interactions.
- Supervise the daily activities of a project or design team including allocating and checking work and providing feedback on performance.
- Prepare proposals and pricing information for routine projects as required.
- Support and coach less experienced members of the team.
- Participate in the Young Professionals group in the Region.
What you will bring to the team:
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience with good background in Civil 3D and other civil design software.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Applies broad knowledge of a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of technical practices demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business.
- Strong knowledge and application of Engineering principles, and high aptitude for planning and design.
- Good understanding of applicable standards and guidelines.
- Strong technical writing, data analysis and interpretation skills.
- The capacity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D/12D, Naviswork, or similar 3d design packages.
This job offer is based either in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu City office depending on candidate location.
