Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as a Security Officer. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our warehouse operations and personnel. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
What you'll be doing- Patrolling and monitoring the facility to detect any suspicious activities or potential security breaches
- Responding promptly to emergency situations and liaising with local authorities as needed
- Conducting regular security checks and inspections to identify and address any potential risks or vulnerabilities
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to security incidents and actions taken
- Collaborating with the broader security team to implement and enhance security protocols and procedures
- Providing a friendly and professional face to our customers, visitors, and employees
Requirements
What we're looking for- Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with security equipment, such as CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems
- Commitment to upholding safety and security procedures and a proactive approach to risk management
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
